"The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Overall, the house was mostly clean. Could use a good spring cleaning. Windows and ceilings had several spider webs. As others have mentioned, the front stoop is a big step and the outside landscape is overgrown. Great location and quiet road. The most noise we heard was the frogs. Appreciate Darron finding our pair of airbuds and mailing them to us."

"We loved our stay! My daughter had her wedding at Devils Lake and this was the PERFECT home for us to host the bridesmaids & grandmother's for the weekend. We each had our own space to relax, yet the main floor offered us plenty of space to get all dolled up for the ceremony! The furniture was extremely comfortable, the home was clean and the views from the main living room gave us such a beautiful backdrop for the occasional. Friendly host! Thank you for allowing us to stay here. It was so sentimental to all of us & we've already decided, we will be back! "

"Property and stay were nice! Had a weird interaction with the host after we checked out though. He was mad that we didn't leave a tip for the cleaning people - but we clearly paid a cleaning fee. Vlad asked that we not wear shoes in the house, do not smoke in the house, take out the garbage, clean dishes, and strip all beds of just the sheets and out them and towels in the laundry room. Reasonable requests that we all abide by. We deep cleaned and really left the place how we found it, yet the host felt the need to lecture me on how none of his past guests had been so rude as to not leave a tip. WE were not the ones who hired the cleaning people's services - the HOST did. If you feel they deserve a tip, then the HOST should tip. Not harass customers who just treated your place with such respect and care."
