The property is quite remote, but very peaceful and quiet. There is a lake and walking trails available. You are greated by the cats that live on the property. They are very friendly and love petting.

Joseph was great at communicating. The property was hugh with lots of areas to hike. There was a library with movies and books, bikes to use and a small lake with row boats.

Dog friendly - but alot of cats
The RV resort is clean and well maintained. We stayed in the suite, which was like a studio apartment. Dog friendly a plus, however there are many cats living on the property!! It would be nice if they would build a small enclosed area for the dogs to play.

Rating and price does not match property condition
We stayed in house 3. The location of the property is great. The serene lake, peaceful atmosphere and accessible to the national park is a huge plus. The manager Joseph is very friendly and attentive to our needs. My issue is with the cost vs condition of the property. For the price of the stay, the property is quite modest in it's offerings. The kitchen does not have enough utensils. The carpet in the rooms are definitely old with signs of spot cleaning. The bath rooms do show signs of aging. The property condition doesn't match the rating of 9. The air conditioner is quite old. The balcony access door doesn't lock and one has to use the provided support wood to prevent it from being opened. The features indicate availability of wifi acess but the wifi is not usable for anything more than texting or emailing. Otherwise it's a large cabin with privacy and serene atmosphere. I may not choose to stay here again.

We loved it there! Joseph was so extremely helpful and so kind. We spent Thanksgiving there (2022) and was able to prepare a whole meal. We got the studio, next time we will get a bigger place and bring our pet. What we loved: clean, relaxing, great scenic drive and clean. We were able to go to both parks! Hike and back before dinner.

This place is amazing and very versatile! Family, couple, or solo, no matter your preference this is the place to be! Definitely coming back! Joseph Payne, the property manager was so kind and welcoming! Even gave us water because we came in late and was not prepared. I cannot say enough good things about this property!

It is a beautiful cozy cabin where our family spent Christmas Eve. Thank you to Joseph for his prompt responses prior and during our stay. I would only suggest a new stove as the one there now is a bit aged

The manager Chris was extremely helpful and kind. The little house was laid out very nicely and the kitchenette had everything we could want. The road to and from the place was just beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was that the lake was down to a big puddle due to the drought. Nothing anyone can do about that, unfortunately.

Hidden Gem. Out of the way - but worth it!
Up winding roads and 45 minutes from any grocery store, this place is a drive to get to, but very worth it. Nestled among big trees and big hills, the cabins sit along a hillside overlooking the lake. On the other side of the resort, plenty of RV sites. Make sure to take your 4X4 vehicle and explore this huge property - complete with an old airplane runway, farm fields and timber cuttings. The cabins may look rustic and weathered but inside they are excellently stocked with new appliances and everything you'll need. The pictures don't do the interiors justice, they really are great. A nice, big deck to enjoy the stars, the coyotes, the blue jays, etc. A long way from anything but an old watering hole bar down the road, you're still a solid 30 mins from King's Canyon/Sequoia North Entrance. This is a great place for those who like the comforts of home but don't mind being far from civilization. Enjoyable stay!

Disappointed
The house was great but very far from the sequoia. There was nowhere to get food near the house. No view to the lake. We never saw the lake. Acording to the manager the lake was a puddle with dead fishes. Maybe it is not the season. The manager was very nice and gave us some food for breakfast.

Andrea was friendly and informative. Bed was very comfortable and the little suite was well-equipped. It was too small to have a seating area but did have a table and 2 chairs, small kitchen, nice shower head. I'd go there again.

It was an absolutely beautiful property that was one of the closest resorts to kings canyon and sequoia national parks. We took our pups on walks in the national forest in the morning and brought them back while we toured the parks in the afternoon. The A/C worked incredibly well which was fantastic for our dogs in the hot august weather. The house was very spacious and well laid out. It had everything we could have needed to make our stay truly memberable. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Thank you sequoia resort!

Very quaint, secluded resort. Large main room and two bedroom with bathrooms. Large deck wrapping around 2 sides of the cabin. We were in cabin 1 of 4 which was situated at the far end on a hill with an awesome overlook of the back of the property. Covered parking included. Wifi included, but slow at times. Verizon is the only carrier with a useable signal. We used our iPad hotspot and it was plenty fast. Great trails for walking. Centrally located for Kings and Sequoia parks. Very windy roads getting there so take your Dramamine if you’re prone to car sickness. They’re in the process of adding several more RV sites with full electric/water/sewer options. The manager was lovely and she took the time to answer all our questions. I’d highly recommend this property especially for those looking for a more remote, quiet cabin atmosphere.

We stayed at House #3 for three nights and really loved the place. It has a lot of space and the next two houses are not too close. There was little light in the nights and the stars were so bright. We sat on the porch watching stars every night and tried to capture the stars on our phone. The drive to parks took about 30 minutes and was not bad at all. In general we enjoyed our stay very much.

Words can't describe how satisfied we were with our choice to stay at the Sequoia Resort. It was our first time, stayed at the 3bedroom house. The house was clean, all amenities included, and very specious. The place is licated in a very quiet, and a secluded area. Beautiful views 360. I couldn't stay off the patio in the morning just to hear the birds chirping. The lady who runs the place is amazing, very helpful and always smiling. Our favorite new place to vacation.

Between camping and glamping
Our stay here was great. From the pictures on hotels.com we thought we were staying in one of the vacation cabins but we actually were staying in the guest suite. It was very nice. The room had everything we needed, stove top, microwave, oven/toaster, plates, silverware, fridge, air conditioner, heater and TV. The hot water was no joke, it become hot very quickly and i loved that. The room we stayed in was essentially a studio, everything was in the same room but the space was good and enough for just the two of us. Outside of the room there is a lake with a deck and a few trails on the property. There are also a couple boats and bikes available for guests to use as they want. The drive to Big Stump Entrance is about 30 minutes which is not bad when you plan to spend the whole day in the National Parks. There is no cell service in the area but that goes for the entire city not necessarily the resorts fault. They do have wifi. There are not really any food places nearby, but as long as you come prepared with food to cook in your studio you will have a great time. I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone that doesnt want to full on camp but still wants the outdoor exposure. We had a great time and hope to go back again.

Awesome!
Wonderful resort, we stayed at House #1, 4 adults, it was huge, could easily fit 6 or more. Kitchen -very clean & well equipped and the entire house was clean and newer. The drive up was nice, indeed passed through some narrow winding roads but it was a nice drive. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the North Entrance of Sequoia Natl Park through highway 245 as recommended by the resort staff and was great! No waiting in line to get in. The water level of the lake at the resort was 4 ft low but it’s due to the CA drought so we didn’t get to try boating etc there. Overall though this property was a great choice for us while visiting Sequoia and surrounding attractions. Enjoyed hanging out at the large outside deck with BBQ grill & nice views! Will definitely return .

Great location for accessing Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Park. The cabin is a little dated but has everything you need to enjoy time in the widerness, and I loved the litle extra touches like providing coffee and oil, salt & pepper etc in the kitchen, so we could easily prepare our own meals. The decking was lovely, with a great view over the lake, and a grill which we enjoyed using. The lake is great - you can use the rowing boats for free and it was lovely to get out on the lake. Would definitely reccomend as a lovely peaceful getaway.

My husband and I really enjoyed our visit. Sequoia resort is really close to the kings canyon entrance of the park. We were able to explore the kings canyon portion of the park during the day and have a short ride back to rest. We stayed in the artist retreat it was a perfect size for the 2 of us. We had a kitchenette and bbq on the balcony for our meals.

Perfect family vacation!
What an amazing family vacation thanks to Andrea and Sequoia Resort and RV!! We are hotel folk and this was an alternative to camping. It was above and beyond. Andrea communicated with me before arriving, helping with info, directions, advice and continued to communicate and pamper us the whole time. Sure the house is a bit dated, but so comfy! Beds very comfy, small issues with cable, and other needs, were immediately addressed. The house was perfect for our teens and family. We all had our own space and large kitchen, deck, bbq, dining indoors and out. We saw deer and other wildlife from the deck. The grounds are beautiful with a peaceful lake for fishing and rowing. Biking was great, trails throughout. Just 35 min drive to the N. Entrance of Kings Canyon. Mountain House Saloon, local family run, fun for a meal out. Casual, cocktails and a nice patio, burgers etc. We are home and now homesick for Sequoia Resort. Thank you Andrea for everything! We have memories to share forever!!
