"Our room was very clean and remodeled well. We were only staying one night so we booked the cheapest king bed room. This room #24 was an attic room which had no windows except for two skylight window on the ceiling. Didn’t have screens and it rained that evening, so we closed them. "As Americans traveling through Germany, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The night staff member was exceptional—he spoke excellent English, answered all of our questions, and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by how much room we had, and everything was well maintained. The location was another big plus. The hotel is centrally located with grocery stores and several restaurants within easy walking distance, making it very convenient to grab food or anything else we needed. The only minor drawback was the lack of air conditioning. We understand that A/C isn’t common in Germany, so that wasn’t an issue. However, having a fan in the room would have made sleeping during the warmer weather much more comfortable. Another hotel we stayed at in Cologne provided a fan, and it made a noticeable difference. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again. The friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and convenient location made this an excellent place to stay."
