"We had a lovely stay at Pan Haus during our Halstatt trip. The bed and breakfast is run by a warm and friendly couple and our room faced the beautiful hills. The location is very convenient, close to the bus stop and train. This was our first experience with a WhatsApp check-in and code entry, which was a pleasant surprise. "We stayed one night to visit Halstatt. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional. Delicious breakfast. We had a car and the free parking was a two minute walk. There’s a pizzeria next door for dining options. The beds were comfortable and the AC was a great bonus. Thank you"

"Check-in was all electronic and a little confusing after a long tiring drive but we had no major issues. We programmed our own key cards and managed to work the private underground parking. The apartment was clean, quiet and lovely, and in a fabulous location. The town is beautiful. It was dog friendly and we even had our own small grassy terrace for morning “wee-wees”. Would definitely stay again if we ever return."

"The place seemed a little like something out of a horror film. The room itself was nice (the balcony door was broken which was disappointing) but the actual facility is nothing like the pictures. I never saw a staff person (not sure if there is even breakfast available) and the place was completely dark and dead even though I got there during the supposed check in time. Definitely bring water and snacks for your stay. "
