"Breakfast was superb"

"The hotel room was spacious with balcony, with view of the forest. However, there was no hot water for showering on the night we arrived. It was at 8:30 pm, so I went to the reception desk since the letter that we were given during check in earlier that night stated that the front desk was staffed till 9:00 pm. There was nobody there. We called their service number and spoke with the lady owner who said that they would send their "colleague" who lived in the building that night. Nobody came. We sent an email that night, as well. The next morning, we spoke with the receptionist who already knew about the issue before I could explain to her. She was apologetic and said that the maintenance person never answered their call last night, but responded that morning, saying that he would come that day. We asked if we could move to a different room, but she said that there was no other available room, eventhough the other rooms were still available since she was expecting other guests to be checking in later that day. The receptionist was the same person during our entire stay. Although nice and professional, she was not local and admitted that she was just covering for the holiday and knew little about the area, especially the ski condition. However, she mentioned that for the past 5 years, there had been no snow during the month of December. "

"Compact but well laid out rooms. Around half the rooms are facing the main road (with a small park in between) so there may be some noise when vehicles pass but it’s still manageable. Love that the parking is right in front of the property, and there are some restaurants nearby."

"The staff were amazing as was eveything about this Hotel. From the spectacular views to the walks surrounding it, it was amazing. Our room / apartment was huge and spacious with a wrap around balcony. If we had any criticisms it would be the pillows were slighty uncomfortable and that my wife did struggle with some food choices being Gluten and Dairy free (this seems to be the case throughtout Austria though). But the food we all did have was fantastic."
