This was a beautiful hotel in the heart of Bad Gastein. Top tier service with beautiful rooms, bar, and dining facility. The show stopper is the spa and pool. Will absolutely be returning.

Straubinger has exceeded my expectations - by far!

The renovation of the old Straubinger might possibly the best ever of a k.k. monarchy monument. Brillantly done by keeping old walls, doors and character in general while not making any compromises on the luxury one would expect as a guest in 2023. The state of the art spa and pool area are outstanding. The bar is phantastic. Service is very good. Bad Gastein hasn't had any hotel of that standing since the k.k. monarchy had ended more than 100 years ago. Thank you to the new owners for that architectural masterpiece. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing location! The hotel and rooms itself were stunning and very clean. You should definitely try the restaurant as well, the food was delicious. Everyone working there that we met were so friendly as well and really made our stay. Especially the lovely man working in the hotel bar/cafe on the day of our checkout- and the receptionist who checked us in. Thanks for such a memorable stay!

Hotellet var det bästa vi har upplevt. Servicen när man anländer, de parkerar bilen åt oss, en guidad tur för att visa hotellet samtidigt som vi får ett glas champagne i handen. Känslan är lyxig från minut ett. Väldigt fina och rena rum, städning varje dag. Spa som ingår, fantastisk frukost. Även maten på kvällen var toppen. Summerat - en fantastisk upplevelse!
