Beautiful historic building in great condition. The hotel manager called us ahead of time to check on our ETA, and provided us with instructions for our check in after hours. The hotel has its own parking area within own premises. The room was very nice, clean and with a roomy bathroom. The breakfast was served in an expansive glass room, and there was a good selection of quality food.

We couldn't hide our disappointment when, on the morning of our first stay, we realized that: The hotel markets itself with pictures of a swimming pool/spa, which in reality is just a small jacuzzi and a small sauna. Both parts were only available during the day hours, and only by request. However, it was not possible to have the "Spa" and sauna open during our stay. The pictured beach / beach promenade was located several kilometers away and where the beach mostly was private. Access to the beach was via one road only, all other roads were private and closed to non-resident holidaymakers By the way, the shower in our room did not work without critical water level on the entire floor. Kudos to the hotel's well-stocked breakfast buffet. Charming city, and the most excursion destinations within a maximum of 1.5 hours' drive The city museum (Stadt- Und Bädermuseum Bad Doberan Möckelhaus) is definitely also worth a visit. Likewise is the impressive church (Doberaner Münster - Ev.-Luth. Kirchengemeinde Bad Doberan) The train / narrow-gauge track is a pleasant feature in the street scene. However, the trip to the beach was wasted due to access conditions / and hotels' private ownership of the beach All in all a nice stay and I hope our comments don't scare away future holidaymakers. We can, after all, recommend the hotel and its central location.

Frukosten var ar suverän och mycket trevlig personal. Receptionen stängde tidigt på eftermiddagen och öppnade sent på morgonen. Det var struligt att hitta och få ut nyckeln. Rum enkelt och funktionellt men utkylt vid ankomst.

Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet ein gutes Frühstück in einem sehr schönen Raum. Unser Standardzimmer war sehr klein und unter dem Dach und meines Erachtens dem Preis nicht angemessen. Außerdem lag es direkt neben dem Auzug, der beim Anfahren und Halten einen mörderischen Krach produziert, sodass wir davon geweckt wurden. So sind wir gegen Aufpreis in ein deutlich größeres Zimmer im hinteren Gebäude umgezogen. Dies war ein schöner Raum, aber leider waren auch hier die Betten hart.

Überraschend angenehm! Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war eine kleine Überraschung. Obwohl wir das kleinste Zimmer hatten und dies auch direkt an der Rezeption erwähnt wurde, war es gut ausgestattet: ein bequemes Bett, ein Fernseher, ein Sessel, eine Minibar (zwar leer, aber praktisch, da ein Supermarkt in der Nähe ist) und ein sehr schönes Bad mit Dusche. Besonders angenehm war die schnelle Heizung im Zimmer und der effiziente Heizkörper im Bad, gerade bei kälterem Wetter. Ein kleines Manko war der Fahrstuhl neben dem Zimmer, den man kaum hörte und der uns persönlich nicht störte. Eine positive Überraschung war die Selbstbedienungs-Bar im Eingangsbereich. Nach dem Prinzip der Vertrauensbasis konnte man sich selbst bedienen und seine Konsumationen notieren, die später abgerechnet wurden. Auch wenn wir dieses Angebot nicht genutzt haben, fanden wir das Konzept sehr interessant und außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstück war hervorragend: Trotz der überschaubaren Größe des Buffets bot es eine große Auswahl, die mehr als in manchen anderen Hotels zu finden war, und war von hoher Qualität. Das Personal besticht durch seinen norddeutschen Charme, ist äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde prompt eingegangen, und der Service war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Ein Verbesserungsvorschlag: Verdunklungsvorhänge im Zimmer wären eine tolle Ergänzung. Fazit: Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Ein rundum guter Aufenthalt. Anlage befindet im historischen Stadtzentrum von Bad Doberan. Sehr großzügige Räume und Badezimmer in einem historischen Ambiente. WLAN war ausgezeichnet. Frühstücksbuffet wurde variantenreich und sehr lecker in der Orangerie serviert. Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert

Gute Wahl in Bad Doberan

Sehr nett gelegenes Haus (Molli fährt direkt vor der Tür, wenige Meter bis ins Zentrum). Aufwendig renoviert. Schöne Zimmer, umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Rezeption leider nur bis 18 Uhr besetzt, was bei der Anreise beachtet werden sollte.
