Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
very cute curb appeal and adorable little place when you get there. esp if it’s just you and your daughter who are going to visit a friend and go to the beach. HOWEVER;; the ad says air conditioning, it’s a fan that doesn’t circulate, barely gets cold, and the only way to get cool is to stand in that one spot. when i see air conditioning as one of the only amenities listed, i would at least assume they had a window unit or something!!! it was very hard for me to be there. i have a small child who just turned 3, and i also have health problems and bad lungs. so when im in the heat and humidity it’s EXTREMELY HARD for me to breathe. i woke up in the morning and was dripping sweat, i was so hot and couldn’t breathe i could barely get us packed and out of there. i scheduled for thurs the 21st, wasn’t able to make it down that night due to my daughter having a low grade fever but we were able to break it, keep her hydrated and get there friday night: i explained to the host and asked if i could add that missing night and stay until monday…. he said i had to extend the stay and pay the price for that night. however i was no longer to access the account. needless to say, i left shortly after i woke up and went to get a room at the days inn down the road as soon as i could because the heat was so bad for my daughter and myself..we did enjoy our time there but not great hosting
