Amazing location, needs some improvements

Beautiful, secluded location! Loved the kayaks, hammocks in the water and restaurant on the water. The road in is terrible- you need a SUV, even with that it’s scary, huge ruts in the road. Bring bug spray, mosquitoes are so bad. No water pressure for shower or sink and it smelt awful, like sulphur.

The dock and food were amazing. The staff was friendly and the location was perfect. Not too close to town so it was nice and quiet. The rooms were very basic. The room layout and decor could be improved. There were no bedside lamps or charging points. You had to go across the room to turn off the lights. Shower curtains were flimsy and falling off. If they added a little love to the rooms, this would be a perfect 10.

What I liked: Beautiful view. Right on Lake Bacalar. The restaurant has very good food. Friendly people. The entrance to get into the lake was very easy. Several areas to enter the lake. WIFI service was very good. Rooms were very spacious. Rooms were cleaned daily. The grounds were clean and nicely decorated with plenty of beach chairs by the lake. Only two negatives for us: the TV in one of our rooms didn’t work for our stay (the staff tried to fix several times and couldn't get it to work) and the property can be difficult to get around for someone with mobility problems (no level walking paths, a step to get into bathroom, stairs and inclines to get anywhere).

Amazing view of the lake from the property. It’s located in one of the best areas of the lake to enjoy the shallow clear waters. Hotel breakfast was delicious

Beautiful location, very friendly staff which is helpful. Access to lagoon is amazing and plenty of good advice to get from the staff over what to do. Rooms are big and comfortable. Could definitely benefit with some work bringing up to date, and renewal, and also some outdoor furniture for the balconies.

The road entrance for the hotel needs work, two small packets of shampoo, two towels(reserved for 4 people)i had breakfast included they say i didn't, had to pay for it.

Terrible!! Starting with the manager, he didn't have answers about simple questions. The food is bad and very limited, you order something and the side items don't get served with the plate, but yet they will charge the same amount as on the menu. The bar has no stock, poor selection of beer, no wine etc. The only reason for 1 star is for the location. The road to get to the hotel from the highway is dangerous and if you order from outside restaurants they will charge extra due to the condition of the road.

El lugar es increible, tiene hermosa vista a la laguna, esta un poco alejado del centro pero es un lugar tranquilo para descansar y disfrutar, la comida es buena sin embargo no cuentan con todo lo que ofrecen en la carta, el personal es amable, las habitaciones son espaciosas y cuentan con frigobar, recomindo llevar algo de botana propia y bebida

La Laguna e instalaciones 10 de 10. El único inconveniente es que para llegar los señalamientos son pocos, el camino de entrada es horrible, lodoso, se atascan los autos. Y así como lo observamos si no es con camioneta no entras. El personal es atento y servicial pero creo que insuficiente.

El acceso al hotel está en muy malas condiciones, riesgo de atascarse con el barro para él que trae auto. La recepción de huéspedes no hay, tiene que bajar al área de restaurante a buscar al personal para que te atiendan. La instalaciones hermosas, el lugar maravilloso y la comida buena.

Muy caro el hospedaje. Sus instalaciones no lo ameritan. Falta un supervisor de instalaciones. Un gerente que vigile todo el funcionamiento del hotel. Los trabajadores hacen su mejor esfuerzo pero nadie los supervisa. Los dueños del luigar están ausentes. Sus teléfonos del hotel no funcionan. Nunca pudimos comunicarnos con ellos desde la Ciudad de México.

En si el hotel está magnífico, excelente personal , la comida súper rica , limpieza , todo muy bien ! Solo que se batalla en dar con la propiedad , no hay señalización hacia el hotel, el GPS te manda por otra entrada que no es. Lo demás de 10 !

A la llegada nos dieron una habitación provisional (que no contaba con las condiciones adecuadas), toda vez que no tenían registrada nuestra llegada, tampoco tenían bebidas (muy limitadas opciones de cerveza en específico) y comida que ofrecían en la carta (como cochinita pibil). Asimismo no hay nadie que te atienda en recepción. Las palapas estaban sucias, sin limpiar. Al segundo día nos cambiaron de habitación y la regadera de la habitación no tenía potencia, tampoco nos pusieron ropa de cama completa (sábana de cajón), solo dos sábanas planas que se hacían bolas y terminamos durmiendo sobre el cubre colchón). Las instalaciones en general están muy abandondas, pero tienen una ubicación súper en la laguna (una de las cosas que valen la pena). La único rescatable es la excelente atención de Gerardo y Toño, que trataron en todo momento de hacer lo mejor con lo que tenían.
