Also, the bathrooms are not renovated and the photos they took do not show them properly. They smelled and there were ants all over our sink one morning. There was also no conference center, but it looks like one may be built at some point The staff was nice but will never stay here again."

"This is a very basic 1 star hotel. There are no pictures of the bathroom for a very good reason. Absolutely dingy and disgusting. Bathroom was small, had a stained toilet and a bucket with no enclosure for bathing. Bedrooms are small and again, very basic. Looks even less than in pics. "

"I stopped over for 1 night en route to Varkala Beach. The hotel is very clean, the King Suite is very spacious. Rooftop bar and restaurant thoroughly recommended. Would stay again."

"Initially we booked a standard AC room but upgraded to a deluxe AC room on the 2nd floor which has been constructed newly. The room had ample space with a small balcony as well as with TV and a small storage cupboard. The room, attached bathroom-toilet was clean and the bed linen as well as towels were clean. Provision for tea/coffee in the room was available. A table chair would have been nice. Nearby dining options are available. The not-so good reviews are mostly due to the standard rooms on the first floor. Overall, a decent budget hotel close to the Kayamkulam train station with friendly front-desk staff who can arrange transport to visit nearby places."
