"Very quiet environment without too many tourists around. Some restaurants nearby and the BBQ Ishigaki beef restaurant is around the corner. Overall it is relaxing."
"Great location and accommodating to foreigners. Worth booking if you are looking for a "apartment hotel" with a kitchen and space to do your own thing. Imagine the space and number of beds would be a great benefit for larger groups. Bear in mind there is no check in staff to assist unless directly requested. But this was what we looked for so worked well!"
"The staffs were not on duty most of the time during my stay. When I needed some more toilet paper, tissues or towels, no one could help me. Even I checked out at around 11:30 am, I just dropped my key to their mailbox as no one was on duty."
"Solid business Hotel for a stay in ishigaki. It's away from the main area so is a 10-15 min walk to restaurants etc but is v quiet. Room is clean and has all the amenities except a shower curtain which I thought a bit strange. No carpet either but total fine with that. For some reason the TV decided to turn on by itself at 6am this morning which was a rude awakening but other than that all good. "
"It was a fine hotel, about a 10 minute walk from tge main bustling area of town. The staff spoke mainly Japanese only, but were super helpful despite the language barrier. Breakfast was good rather tgan excellent, as was the hotel in general."

"We had an Ocean view room. The room was clean and well attended.
The hotel is a resort with a couple of pools, a few restaurants and lounge. We used the lounge and Soltida,a more casual restaurant. The other two restaurants looked very nice, however quite expensive.
The breakfast buffet was very good. Large selection of western and Japanese foods.
The front desk staff was always very helpful to arrange dinner reservations and taxis. The hotel is a little bit too far of a walk from downtown, especially in the heat and humidity. There is a bus that runs to downtown however we did not use it. Taxis were inexpensive.
The hotel provided free parking as we had a rental car that we used to explore the island.
Ishigaki is definitely a nice tranquil island and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the bigger Japanese cities.

"Everything was perfect, clean, simple check in, laundry on site and free bike rentals available. Plenty of parking right in front of the door throughout our stay too. There were also a ton of options for food at breakfast (which was free 🤗) wouldn’t have changed anything about this place except maybe the pillows on the beds!"
"Have been in Ishigaki for 6 times, Miyahira Hotel did surprise me on the location, amenities and room condition. I stayed at the new building with balcony, which works perfectly well for divers - to dry our gear. Location is quiet and just stone throw to bus terminals for airport transfer.
Breakfast is the top in town, from variety and quality perspectives. You can enjoy Blue Seal ice-cream there. They also offer free coffee everyday until 5pm with paper cups to facilitate take away.
Next time, I will stay in Miyahira. "
"Incredible destination. Everything is so beautiful in the resort and well tought of. We loved the design, the view, the staff, the pools, the batida restaurant and its chef Francois is also really nice and delicious. The breakfast is so worth it, and we loved the happy hours durings weekdays. The spas and saunas were also a big add on (for free) and we were happy the resort accepts tattoos as there are many that don’t. The area around is not as luxurious but very safe and the grocery store is nice to cook a meal in your bedroom if you feel like it. Only thing to upgrade would be there was no equipment to do the dishes so we had to use hand towels. Also if you want to go to a restaurant outside you better reserve before as we were refused because of lack of place. Overall it was on of the most beautiful hotel we went to."
"The staff were great. The room was really small and stuffed full of furniture so not a lot of extra space. The bed was really hard and there were only two pillows on the bed, with no extra ones.
The hotels was really close to lots of great restaurants. "
