Graduation Vacation
The home was nostalgic and had great games to play! The lake was AMAZING! Got to watch the stars while laying on the end of the dock! The bedrooms were a bit warm, but with the air on we could use the fan to direct air and it was quite pleasant. Google maps took us to the end of the road and we had to backtrack, but it wasn’t difficult to find. We really enjoyed the property, communication with the owner was easy, checkin was simple and checkout couldn’t have gone any better. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Nice But.....
We did enjoy our stay and it was convenient to Sebring Raceway but the listing was a little misleading We thought that the 2nd bathroom was inside the house. It was inside but across driveway off the breezeway. We made the best of it but would just like to warn others. It was very clean and a very nice view of the lake and the host was very accomodating but....the description was a little misleading.

Fish weren't Biting
Our trip was short, a trial stay not far from home, the quiet and peace was great, the mood was very relaxing, but the fish weren't hungry our weekend, we will try again next time for a longer stay

This was the perfect place and location for us. We knew the house was going to be dated but it was clean spotless and exactly what we wanted. A million times better than staying in a hotel and Charlotte was a great host!! Would definitely go back!!!

Great quiet getaway
We initially rented this place as a quiet clean place to sleep before a local fishing tournament, however this turned out to be a gem. The building and furnishes are dated, but the scenery here is beautiful. The lake is crystal clear. Apparently, this lake is a popular diving spot. We saw lots of folks with scuba gear diving. It is an interesting and quiet spot that would be great for a quiet getaway. Avon Park is a nice little town nearby that also has that quiet relaxing vibe.

A large home on a spring fed lake. Quiet and peaceful. Home was very clean and comfortable even though it was a bit dated. That 70's feel only added to its charm.

Lake is Great
The lake was amazing. The house was like stepping into a time capsule, but everything was very clean and well maintained. Only very minor inconvenience was that the beds slide around a bit. We also couldn't get the TV to work, but I found that to be a benefit, get outside and enjoy the dock.

Awesome Lakeside Vacation
This is an older house that is very clean and at a GREAT location. The lake is crystal clear and perfect for swimming. The dock was also good for fishing. The fenced backyard was nice because we could keep the kids out of the lake when we wanted to. The house is on a dead end road so there is very little traffic. The kitchen was large. We had an EXCELLENT time and would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Lake House
We loved this lake house. It is on a beautiful lake with a dock to easily access the lake. The house is roomy and was well equipped for cooking. The beds were soft and comfortable. It was clean and everything worked as needed. Charlotte was easy to get in touch with and answered my questions pretty quick. We will definitely rent this property again when we visit the Sebring area!

The home had a huge, open, kitchen/dining/living area. It was very well appointed with comfortable furnature/tables/chairs. Three bedrooms were of ample size and presented no surprises. The screened-in, full width back porch was wonderful for lake watching or a snooze.

Nothing fancy but clean and quiet.
The location is very nice with a great view. Nothing fancy but definitely did the job. One bathroom is out in the breezeway and not much parking. But overall is worked great for us.

Absolutely loved the home! The house itself was clean and comfortable. Very Spacious and the owner was very kind! Lake Denton was refreshing and beautiful! We loved having access to a dock and able to do some fishing (catch and release). We will definitely be renting this home again!

We had a very short stay, but it was so relaxing to sit on screened in porch. This house was perfect for us. Lots of room, very clean, and had games that my family enjoyed. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Tranquil setting…
Rented this home for the weekend with a close friend from high school, to check out the caladium festival in Lake Placid. The home is a bit rustic, yet comfortable and clean. Loved the Lake! They advertised two bathrooms but one of the bathrooms is locked and outside. We did OK sharing one bathroom, however initially we had a group of four women. One bathroom would not have been adequate. There is a yapping Bull dog and a large caged bird next door who spoiled one peaceful morning fishing off the dock. The Lake is Crystal clear and beautiful. We enjoyed watching the throngs of scuba divers getting certified in the lake, and felt comfortable swimming in the lake ourselves. It’s a good home in a good location on a gorgeous small lake. Caveat: only one bathroom IN the house. Dog in yard next door doesn’t like visitors. Big Bird was entertaining, yet noisy. Nice view from the patio. Outdoor shower a plus after a dip in the lake. Not sure where you could launch a boat or jet skis? Maybe down the road?

I Expected More From This Property
The Oven was filthy, I wasn't able to cook inside of the oven, only on the stove top. There was only one working TV in the living room, the two back bedrooms didn't have TV'S. The twin bedroom had an old dated TV in the room, but did not work. One of the mattresses in the twin bedroom was stained with something. So these problems made it not the Perfect Stay. Sorry😔

The property is rustic, quaint and clean. The view from the screened porch is amazing - we enjoyed our coffee each morning and the adult beverage of our choice each evening from this vantage spot. The lake is pristine. The hostess very responsive.

Short stay for Sebring race
My father and I stayed one night for the 12 hours of Sebring. Its a nice house, Lake is beautiful, only issue i had was the beds. They were old and very noisy. I saw a lot of reviews about the water but I grew up with well water and it wasn't that bad. All in all for the price we enjoyed our short stay. The lake is a big plus. Water is crystal clear.

We felt entirely comfortable in this home - right at home. The spacious screen room allowed us to enjoy the lake despite the weather. The neighborhood is quiet and the lake serene. Lovely time!
This house has a long dock leading to a crystal clear lake, which is the main attraction. Other highlights include the house’s large screened-in porch and large sitting room with French doors leading out to the porch. The water inside does have a slight sulfur smell, but it is a small price to pay for being able to stay on Lake Denton.

Amazing getaway
My family and I had an amazing time staying here. The lake was beautiful! Crystal clear water and white sandy shore. Perfect for our kids to play. There were plenty of floats and water toys along with beach chairs to use. There were barbecue grills and tools available. The house was clean and cozy. Board games and coloring books to enjoy with our family. We originally booked our stay for two days and ended up staying for five because we just loved the place. We cannot wait to come back again and plan to book regularly. Charlotte was a great host and a pleasure to deal with. (the water in the house was not as bad as previous reviews stated)

My mom slept on a bed that had a 2 ft urine stain. We didn’t realize it until we stripped the beds before leaving. The water had a choking sulfur smell. The second bathroom is outdoors. The silverware was dirty. There were ants in the kitchen and the microwave had odd black stuff growing on top. Needless to say we didn’t cook there. Not thrilled.
