The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. "Traveling from Valencia to Barcelona we decided two nights on the Montserrat mountain would be an adventure. It was. Pere did an excellent job in making us feel as guests. Take advice - park in the parking lot and don't go down any unknown streets. Confirm eating options as many restaurants were closed. The entire town is very friendly and an easy walk to the train for the monastery. Children school is close so you will hear them before 9:00 AM. Thank you."

"This is probably the best place I have stayed using Vrbo over 10 years. Daniel and Estar present a perfect place, a stone house, nicely furnished and extremely clean. "The house and property are even more beautiful than we imagined with incredible views. Frederic is an excellent host and exceptional cook! My partner and I stayed for a week and we will keep such special memories here together. It is a private and peaceful place.
