"The motel is very charming and the partial ocen view from the deluxe king room upstairs was wonderful. Balcony and tub were huge. The carpet does need to be replaced with laminate or tile, as it stays very moist and leaves a lingering mildew odor which impacts air quality. In the end, the proximity to the actual beach/ocean wins it for this property, and we were glad we chose it over the newer, fancier places farther from the sea. "

Bad: The parking is very difficult & I thought was included with the room; nope - $15/day for a sardine space. The old rooms are noisy/will hear everyone walking above (luckily we travel with sound machine). Worst: The shower water pressure is abysmal - would be hard pressed to put out a small birthday candle. "

"We had a short stay at this apartment but enjoyed the time we were there. The apartment was very clean however it could use a little refreshing. What concerned us the most was the driveway which was steep. Plus, parking at the bottom of the driveway made loading and unloading difficult.
