This has to be one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The stay was for my husbands, daughter and myself. First, I spend two days trying to contact the hotel to ask about the pool ( the main reason we were staying was the children's amenities). I have 15 call logs and did not get through once. I emailed customer service who told me to email leisure department, which I did ask for a call back. I got neither a call or an email back. When i checked in at the hotel at 6pm, i was told our pre paid breakfast would only br available at 11am in the restaurant. I could however go and get my food and sit in front of reception and eat it on a low table. I think this is disgraceful. Do not take bookings for more customers than you can fit for breakfast! With a small child, asking to wait until 11am in not okay! The pool was fully booked from Wed until Fri so could not use. When I asked about food, I was told there was no tables and I would have to drive into Aviemore for food. I then asked about the children's fun house for my daughter. I was told this was closed and had not been open all year. No sign of this on their website.We then got to our room where the smell of mould hit you as you walked in. The bathroom was disgraceful. Tiled were cracked. Bath had black marks and chips in it. MOULD on other tiles. I told reception we couldn't and we would need to move. No apology or offer to move, just he would get maintenance to look when we left. We had to get another hotel 2hrs later.
