"I had an overall great experience at The Watergate Hotel. The property itself is beautiful, with a prime location and a sophisticated, upscale atmosphere that really stands out. The staff was welcoming, and the amenities added to the overall luxury feel of the stay. The only downside for me was that the rooms felt a bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. While they were clean and comfortable, a more modern refresh would really elevate the experience. "The staff was the friendliest I've ever encountered in any hotel. The valet service for my car was prompt and friendly. The room was modern and comfortable. The bathroom felt like home. Overall, the hotel is quiet, visually stunning, and comfortable. My only quibble was with the restaurant or I had breakfast. The server got my order wrong and the food was somewhat cold. That can be remedied."
