Exactly what we needed
We were looking for a quiet place in the country on the water and this property checked all the boxes. The quaint cabin was perfect and we better than we expected. Check in was a breeze with a key pad door handle with our own personal code to get in. The cabin has recently been updated with new appliances, paint, and bedding. The adults slept in the main room and the kids in pull outs in the family room. Waking up with a cup of coffee over looking the river with the sun rising was so refreshing. The kids still had all the internet they needed since they can’t appreciate being unplugged. A big part about our stay was to be on the water. We brought our 25 foot boat and was able to park on the side of the dock. The water is deep and calm. We had no issues with launching across the bay and parking the trailer in the barn on the property.The owners asked how the stay was going. We told them it was amazing except for 1 thing. Our toilet seemed very slow to fill between flushes. They asked if they could take a look at it while we were out on the boat. During our trip the owner Lonnie checked the toilet and realized it needed a new part. When we got back the toilet was working great. If someone is looking for a secluded waterfront retreat with a place to park your boat I will highly recommend this one.
