"The renovation of an existing motel is very well done. Considering the price per night is almost 1/2 of the chain motels, we were concerned with staying there the first time. Now, if we ever need a room in this town, this place would be our first choice. It is a motel and not a hotel, which means you park for free at your room door, and enter your nice room from the outside of the building. "I love hampton suites. Very roomy and well laid out. What I didn't like was the noise from the bathroom. Sounded like a water leak with a constant drip sound. I reported it and was told it was a fan making the noise. 2nd night we turned on the bathroom fan and shut the door. This worked pretty well. All in all nice stay minus the drip sound the first night. Very friendly pleasant hotel staff."
"We rebook here because the beds are comfy and plenty of pillows. Breakfast is good. All usual fair but really good . Breakfast lady is super nice and keeps the food hot and ready . We booked the suite this time and it was nice and lots of room.
Very safe area .
I would suggest some attention to the pool area. We enjoyed it but it needs attention.
Madison itself is amazing!! Lots to do ."
"Our room was spotless, the only thing that wasn’t was the fact they’re currently doing renovations throughout the hotel. Stairs to upstairs rooms get locked at night and can only be accessed via key card, which adds some peace of mind. Staff was very helpful and if we find ourselves in Salem IN again, I’d stay here again."
"Loved everything about this place! If you want to slow down and unwind it's the place for you. The owners are so accommodating and easy going. If you're in the area get off the beaten path and stay here. You won't be disappointed!"
