Would be nicer if a small coffee maker or kettle was provided.

Everything is quite simply ideal for the leisure traveler. You couldn’t ask for a better location, in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods without feeling crowded or touristy. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, and the amenities are excellent. If you plan to do a canal tour, definitely plan to do this through the hotel’s boat, The Tourist, which boasts a historical link to Winston Churchill. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences as well.

The staff at the July were outstanding. They were friendly, helpful and genuine. The hotel itself was clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar downstairs as well as the free bicycles available. It was a positive experience from check in to check out.
Amsterdam has many options for lodging, but we will stay at the July anytime we return to Amsterdam. Thank you for everything!

Stayed 4 nights, great location to both the train station and the sites, nice restaurant for dinner, I didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good. A free drink to opt out of daily cleaning was a nice touch.

Spacious rooms, close to a bus stop but quite a bit further from the city’s main attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the property looks and feels exceptional. We really enjoyed the restaurant on premises.
