"A lovely county castle surrounded by Belted Galloway cattle and sheep. The castle grounds have a fruit trees, herbs and vegetables. Tobias is truly a wonderful gentleman and host. He prepared an amazing breakfast both mornings which consisted of local flavors ( haggis, blood pudding, potato cakes, eggs, bacon and sausage). "A unique place to stay for a night. Pet friendly staff. Attentive and courteous too. Room was spacious with decent amount of storage space , had we been staying longer. Wide choice of food for dinner. Carpet in the room where we ate maybe needed a decent hoover and the en-suite had mould spots on the ceiling. The bedroom itself self was clean and tidy. I look forward to staying again."
