"Great place close to restaurants and nightlife"

"It’s listed it has a hot tub, but it does not. It’s filled in with dirt and plants. Outside pool closed for our stay. Carpet was very dirty. The first room had a leak going down the wall and into the carpet. Fridge did not work. No cold water in the room. Put us in another room and it was ok, no fridge. The only ice machine working was on the 5th floor. It states free bkfst, but it is not. You have to pay for it."

"Everything was great, simple and to the point, cleanliness was spot on, no silk spider webs or anything. The only thing I could complain on was the mattress and pillows supplied, pillows flatter than an board and the mattress was very firm, maybe a mattress topper to relieve the firmness, but that’s just me nitpicking, for the money of the room was great, definitely would stay again!!! Seems to be family owned everyone on staff very polite and accommodating."

"The stay was wonderful after we checked in . There was a long line on the reception , making me go back to the car and reserve a room for on night on line , regretting that because of third party booking , I will not have earned points to my account . I would not have gotten points anyway , as my address associated with my account was entered wrong on the front desk . I love the location of the Wingate and will stay there again . In a busy Saturday afternoon , perhaps you need two employees on the front desk"

"No hot water for showers when we checked in. Then had no WiFi. Front desk had me call their WiFi service to figure it out. Really? I think that should have been the hotel's responsibility. When we would leave room and return key card wouldn't work so would have to go back down to front desk to get it fixed. The bed was not very clean (around edge of mattress and near headboard) lots of built up hair. Bathroom was the same (hair)."
