Great stay at Finger Lakes

Had a great weekend stay at the Finger Lakes. Weather wasn't ideal but Casa Carmelo was a very pleasant place to spend the hours we weren't hiking. Plenty of room for the five of us (with a bedroom left over) and everything one needs. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous Fall Weekend

We had a wonderful long weekend enjoying the many amenities at the house and also visited the surrounding area. We enjoyed Skaneateles, Seneca Falls, Auburn, and Aurora. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the amazing sunsets from the decks. Everything was great and we would love to come back and stay longer!

Absolutely Beautiful!

The house was beautiful and the views of the lake were breathtaking. Everything was well maintained and the owner kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Its just a few steps to the water and dock and we got a lot of use out of the paddle board and boats. Highly recommend this house and we would definitely stay here again!

Serenity on the lake

Beautiful view and nice property .. very serene but within 15 minutes of parks, restaurants. There are kayaks and a rowboat for those who want to get out on the lake.

When we arrived we were very pleased with the house and property. Once inside, the view from the living room was wonderful. The house was in good condition. The two level decks offered wonderful views of the lake. Would rent again.

Lovely spot on Owasco Lake. A wonderful and family friendly home to catch a beautiful sunset! The pictures don't do this property justice. A truly lovely location close to Auburn. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with.

Lake haven

Casa Carmela is a beautiful home with a lovely beachfront and fantastic sunset views. Our group of 8 were comfortable and had plenty of room to gather for meals or games. It is convenient to both Auburn and Skaneateles. The house was well appointed and equipped. Owner was responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed.

Amazing!!!

This home is so special! Rick is an amazing host who goes above and beyond for his guests. The house was clean, large, and has an incredible view of the lake. We stayed here during our wedding weekend and the property is so beautiful, we ended up taking some professional photos here. This will be the first of many stays!

Great View from Casa Carmela!

We had a fantastic vacation in the Finger Lakes, and our stay at Casa Carmela was certainly a highlight. The view is amazing looking out over Owasco Lake and we enjoyed the use of the kayaks and boat. The house is in a great location to access western NY, the other Finger Lakes, and Syracuse. Wish we could have taken advantage of the ice cream and mini-golf up the hill, but maybe we'll be back in the summer months!

College Graduation Weekend

We had a great stay with family for our son’s graduation from Syracuse. The house is clean, comfortable, well equipped, and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for seven adults. Beautiful lake views from inside the house and from the decks. The sunsets are amazing. Rick is an excellent host. He was quick to reply to my initial inquiries prior to booking and checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in and check out were very easy. I highly recommend staying at Casa Carmela.

Christmas get together

We rented a house so that we could visit with my mom from Arizona, my children all local to Auburn, and my husband and I from Tennessee. We were able to celebrate Christmas as a unit for the first time in 21 years! The house was perfect for us and we really enjoyed the gorgeous views of the lake. We had an amazing Christmas gathering!!

Insane views, with low maintenance check in

Great comms with the property manager - before booking and during stay. House has gorgeous views of the lake and a private beach/dock. If course it rained the majority of our stay, but we were able to entertain ourselves in the quaint town of auburn and watching football/TV shows on the 2 TVs in the living room. The board games were also fun! Was able to accommodate my parents, husband, 2 children under 2 and my dog. Even with a full house, there was plenty of space for us all to relax. Would highly recommend!!

Beautiful Views!

I spent a long weekend here with my husband and another couple when in town for a wedding in Auburn. The house was spotless and the views of the lake were amazing. The owner was very responsive and made sure we were happy and didn’t need anything. The house has code access which made everything so easy. No need to pick anything up or drop anything off. The house was comfortable and updated and clean. The beds were also very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely home and lakefront

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Carmela. The view of the lake is fabulous and the home is well equipped for enjoying the water (kayaks, paddleboard, life vests, etc). The house is spacious and nicely decorated. Rick was very responsive when I had questions and checked in periodically during our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. The road to the house is single lane, but traffic goes in both directions, so you have to be sure to go slowly in case anyone else is coming or going. We had fun playing mini golf at Tom Thumb, which is right at the end of the road. It, too, has a great view of the lake.

Great home

Great house with a fantastic location. The owner was fantastic, easy check-in, and very easy checkout. Beautiful decks to hang out on over overlooking the water and a nice fire pit down by the water. Great place to stay if your with family and friends lots of space.
