"The Larkspur Landing staff are wonderful. I accidentally booked the wrong room and they waived the transfer fee. They’re one of very few hotels in the area that allow pets and have kitchenette’s. Because I brought my dog, they were able to accommodate my request to be on the first floor near an exit door. The room was nice and clean. The kitchen was stocked with the basics. The bed... The bed was terrible. It was way too soft. I don’t have a bad back and can pretty much sleep anywhere. But it was so uncomfortable that on the morning of check out I couldn’t wait to get up and go home. Another notable mention is parking. The hotel charges an additional $12 per night to park on the property with the option to park on the street. I personally don’t feel comfortable leaving my car parked overnight on the street quite a distance from the hotel. For me $12 is not going to make or break the stay but it’s just something worth mentioning. "
