Cozy traditional cottage in the heart of Auburn- walking distance to cellar doors, pub and cafes. Good breakfast provisions including fresh coffee and bacon, eggs, bread. Wood burning stove and nice outdoor area.
It was cosy quaint and quiet however missing a few small touches that would make it perfect like offering bath salts. Not sure why we have to pay extra for firewood
Lovely spot and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable but the sofa sagged in the middle and was not a great to sit on, the floor was more a better option. The fire kept the rooms toasty warm. Overall an enjoyable visit
This place had everything we could have wanted. Even things we hadn’t thought of. Games, movies, firewood to buy, even oil, salt and pepper to cook with.

Disliked: Staff & service
Some of the little things were a bit poor
- Pepper and salt shaker on table were empty (just decoration?)
- sugar bowl was nearly empty and hard on the bottom of the jar
- Granulated coffee bean jar was nearly empty (was not able to use this item)
- taps in kitchen were extremely hard to turn off (unfortunately one was leaking - so we had to keep trying- igniter in BBQ was very poor (we had to use the fire lighter)
- property was difficult to find - went down church street and ran into a walkway - had to divert

Has Amy dropped the ball?
Comfortable, clean and convenient location close to town centre, walking trails etc. However, not up to 4-star claim, e.g. ashes not cleared, poor continental breakfast choices, expiry dates exceeded, air conditioner dodgy, $15 charge for firewood. Generally lacking the attention and touches one would expect for 4-star accreditation and this tariff.

Disliked: Room comfort
Lovely area, very cosy, however the sofa and mattress needs an upgrade.
The blurb suggested relaxing with an open fire and only later were we told you jad to buy or bring wood
This left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected.
I would not recommend this accomodation
Amy's house is well maintained and clean. The included breakfast provisions were plentiful, with a good choice. Great place to stay in the Clare Valley.
No problem with residence. Problem with Wotif. Booked the wrong place. No information on how to get in. Eventually found agent who had not been provided sufficient details about me. e.g.. mobile number. Nice place. Very quiet spot.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at Amy's House. The location was great for visiting sites in the area and so peaceful. The cottage is beautifully equipped and the beds so comfortable. We have no hesitation recommending this accommodation.
What a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable and lacked for nothing. The owner was easy to deal with, in fact the whole process almost walk in walk out as thought it was your own place, yet he was contactable if needs be.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I could live here. Such a lovely location among the trees the birds, and a stones throw from the river. Wood heater and spa, BBQ facilities, what else could you want. Easy walking distance to the local shops.
Great location with a relaxed atmosphere away from the main road. Wineries on the doorstep. Well stocked kitchen, clean and all could you could want for your stay.
The venue was lovely but we had a few issues. Firstly no one contacted us prior to coming and we didn't know which unit we were in or where to find the key. It was a cold weekend and no wood supplied for the combustion heater. We then found out we had to pay extra for wood. The fire smoked and the dryer didn't work. Very nice ample provisions left for breakfast. Just a pity we didn't feel more welcomed.
