Modern 2 Bedroom 1 Bath Just Steps From The Au Train River

Warm inviting cabin located in Au Train, Michigan. Look out your window and watch the gentle river flow, or better yet, sit on the large covered porch. Either way, you won't be farther than 50 feet from the water. If you're looking for adventure, this area has it all. Hiking biking, ATV's, snowmobile trails right down the road. But this river is known for its kayak and canoeing. It stretches nearly 10 miles, yet you end up 0.5 miles from where you started. Fish in the river or head up to Au Train lake. The lake is great for water sports, bird watching or swimming with a sand beach and campground. The sandy shores of Lake Superior are only 1 mile away. Located between Munising and Marquette, Au Train is the perfect place to settle down and enjoy all the U.P. has to offer.

A lovely little cabin!

The property was very clean and the location is great! We weren’t expecting the kitchen to be as stocked as it was which was a great surprise! The host responded to questions quickly and was very helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place!

Such a nice little place. Beds and pillows were comfortable and so was the couch. Everything was very clean. I loved the view of the river, I could've sat on the porch forever! The cottages are all pretty close together but it was nice and quiet and worked out fine for us. It was nice to be able to bring our dog and we appreciate that the price was reasonable.

Fire Department Snowmobile Trip

Au train cabins

This was an excellent place to stay for what we wanted to do this weekend. The cabin was so clean and cute. The master has 1 bed the other room has a double bed bunkbed and a toddler bunkbed. The couch has a recliner on each end. I would stay here again. Definitely recliners. There were 5 abunkbed

Relaxing Get Away

Awesome Stay

This cozy little cabin was perfect for our first stay in the UP! The host was very sweet and we felt well looked after. Loved that the cabin was off the Au Train river. We were able to just drop in our kayaks and go!

I didn’t really get to spend much time at the property. Booked for two days and had decided to only stay one so I could see Sault Ste Marie. But after checking property had some plumbing issues that could not be resolved that evening, so ended up sleeping in my camper. What I can review is the owner/manager. Super friendly and chatty. felt like long lost family! Moreover I asked for a refund of one night and she promptly refunded my payment. If you are looking for a quiet place to rest up I can highly recommend.

Ice Fest Getaway

My boyfriend and I, along with our pup, came up to the UP for Michigan Ice Fest and stayed at Cindy's cabin. It was quiet, comfortable, and cozy with a well-stocked kitchen and wonderful living and sleeping space. Cindy was kind enough to let us check-in early as well as check out a few hours after the scheduled checkout time, and was very quick to respond to all of my messages. We will definitely be back! Cannot recommend enough.

My husband & I really enjoyed our stay! This place is tucked away in an area with other small cabins, but it was very quiet and easy to get to Marquette & Munising. It had all the basic necessities that made our stay very comfortable. We were able to explore many of the waterfalls in the area and the beauty of Lake Superior!
