Great house right in the water in the heart of Indian Beach/Salter Path. We were able to use the dock for our boat easily and fish from the dock. Living space and bedrooms/bathrooms were nice and comfortable.

The Good and Bad
I loved the view and the dock. The privacy was awesome.Clean home but alot of plumbing issues.Old house that just needs to be remodeled in the bathrooms.Soft spots need to be addressed. Front deck has a warped board that sticks straight up. I tripped over it going in and out of the front door. This house has potential if they choose to put the money into it.I would recommend this house to a fisherman but not anyone who may be disabled. Last but not least I still enjoyed myself and hope the owners fix the problems and continue to be able to rent this house out.

House does not match the pictures on the inside.
Unfortunately it was not as good as advertised. Most of the doors would not close fully and the front door would not open all the way. The back bathroom smelled like a litter box and the floor felt like it could cave in at different parts of the floor. There was a patched hole in the floor of one of the bedrooms and it just had a board over it that was taped with duct tape over it and was a tripping hazard. The AC filter was as dusty as could be and the floor was still dirty cause it left our feet black and had to wipe them off with towels before getting on furniture. Just not what you expect for the money that was paid. The outside area was the big plus to this place and will say it was nice. Just needs things fixed in the home and to be cleaned better to make it worth the price.
Wish there was a way to talk to the host better, I rec so many emails that it was confusing who I was to talk to, we left early on Wednesday

Okay place for a quick trip
We had trouble finding the driveway as the turn off from Salter Path Road isn’t marked at all or relayed to us in the listing or by the management company (hint: turn before the “Frost” billboard). There’s a packet of information in the house that did not match the online listing information/checkout instructions, which was confusing. There’s a few soft spots in the floor and nails on the floor that weren’t hammered in properly for one of the bedrooms that we fixed. The bathrooms could use some updates, especially the master bath, which has stains in the tub. But overall it worked for a couple of nights and was close to the Salter Path Public Access, which was great.
