The art deco interior is impressive. Rooms are quite small, dated and somewhat lacking in amenities. Bathroom supplies - soap etc - are inadequate and not sufficiently replaced. The breakfast on the balcony, while having a good view of the Zocalo, is awful. A lot of choice in theory, but most items are terrible, and basic items, such as bread (stale) and coffee (barely drinkable) are very bad. Reception staff are quite friendly and reasonably helpful.

Beautiful hotel tucked in gorgeous Polanco. Walking is a joy and you have some of the best restaurants and shops a few blocks away. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful and elevated experience. The in-room spa service was great!
