Renovated traditional house

"We had a fantastic time at Laura's house. Stunning views. Wonderful quirky design and a great place to return after exploring gorgeous Astypalea. We met with Maria, who led us to the house through the narrow, atmospheric lanes of the Chora. Maria is a fabulous person, she welcomed us and shared her knowledge of the island, suggesting beaches and great places to eat. We visited her little bar, which is a short walk from the house and enjoyed a memorable evening, enjoying the cool vibe and chatting with Maria and her friends. We travelled all over the island and were so pleased we picked Laura's house to stay. The Chora is stunning and exploring the castle, the charming lanes and passageways, with a stroll down to the windmills for food, ice-cream and people watching was a favourite. There is a small beach below the house (you can see it from the balcony) which we enjoyed swimming in lovely clear water. I messaged Laura about air conditioning before our stay and she responded quickly to say, it had recently been installed. However, we barely needed to use it because of the wonderful sea breezes, with the windows open at night. There is also a very efficient, large ceiling fan, which kept the house cool. It made for pleasant sleeping as you looked out at the sea from the bed. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this lovely house and we very much hope to return. Rachel & Richard"

"Room was clean with a fresh smell every day. The view was spectacular day and evening. The view of the sea during the day and the castle at night was amazing. Staff were very helpful and available all times to answer our questions. They even booked our car for us. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this hotel. Location, view and staff were all perfect. Thank you for all your help. What i would suggest to make guest's stay more convenient is to remove the limit on breakfast coffe as some of us need to have few coffees to start the day."
