"Hotel is up an amazingly steep mountain with multiple hairpin bends, not for the faint hearted but amazing drive for our Porsche. Hotel son and daughter very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean but basic, towels very old.

"Das Gallo ist ein sehr schönes familiengeführtes, mittelgroßes Hotel in Tignale. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und immer sehr Hilfsbereit. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht. Dies ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, da die Zimmer zur Straßenseite sicher mit Verkehrslärm zu kämpfen haben. Motorräder drehen in der Kehre vor dem Hotel gern am Gasgriff. Angela took good care of us upon our arrival. She took time to explain area - how to purchase bus tickets to and from church.
Hotel breakfast is one of the best we had on trip.
