Terrible experience.
We checked in and discovered this place was nothing like expected. It is nothing like the photos, tired and not welcoming.
When we arrived we found out there was no wifi in our room as promised. It turned out the whole block had no wifi as they are all privately owned.
After just under one hour wait for a room change we were shown our new room but even waiting for a cleaner to arrive from another town. I said we had to go and have something to eat (nothing there) and left our small bags in the room whilst they finished cleaning. They gave me the key and I asked if they would lock up in our absence.
When we returned that evening we discovered the room was left unlocked!!! This is terribly disappointing as we left passports , iPads cash etc. in the room. We were lucky we weren't robbed!!
I tried to find someone to complain to but the place was In darkness and locked up. We left in disgust the following morning. I believe someone from hotels.com should contact me re this matter
