Our stay at Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza was perfect for our 4 day visit to Assisi. The hotel is an easy 10-15 walk to town but there is also a bus stop at the hotel with a bus leaving every 30 minutes. The accommodations were clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after a busy day exploring Assisi. Would highly recommend Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza to anyone visiting Assisi.

If you like to walk

The hotel was great and the staff were very accommodating. My only concern was the actual distance the hotel was from the center of town. It was a good walk there and back. I assumed I was closer to all of the sites by the description.

My partner and I felt very well taken care of at La Terrazza. The food was delightful, and the service was exceptional. The highlight for us was the view from the swimming pool, where we could see the stunning Umbrian countryside. It was just what we both needed!

A beautiful place to stay if you are visiting Assisi. The Tili Organic winery is only a 5 minute drive and that was a hidden gem. You can drive from hotel to parking lot to go see the Basilica. Quiet & beautiful property.

We spent a wonderful 4 nights with our infant son. The hotel is beautiful, tranquil and relaxing. Our room had a great view and we loved the pool. You are located a bit out of town so be prepared for that but we enjoyed the walk!

A one night stop in Assisi on our Italy trip.very good pool and the family room had a very good balcony. The restaurant and the breakfast could however improve. The view from the hotel was excellent, so I do not really grasp why the restaurant was situated in the basement with no windows.

The location is fantastic! We walked to Assisi in 15 minutes. We had dinner at the hotel and the service was top notch and very pleasant ambiance. I was just thankful they had restaurant on site that I didn’t have to drive or walk elsewhere since we were tired from driving. The room was a bit small but clean and amazing view with a balcony. I didn’t have chance to use the pool and the spa, but I saw many people were at the pool. Lovely staffs! Loved Assisi!

The location is great. Any easy walk to town. The bed is very hard and the room is very dark. The lights and power go out when you leave the room. Thought if you are trying to charge something while gone.

One of the more beautiful stays of our trip. You could walk out our back door and pool was steps away. The view was gorgeous and it was peaceful. The only negative was parking. We were told we would have to drive 1/4 mile(?) down the hill and park and walk back up. No offer for a ride or shuttle. However there was a parking lot next to the hotel with empty spots which was not even mentioned. Also watch out for the hammock. Tried to sit in it and it threw me right out.

We had a great time at this family run hotel.It was ideally situated for Assisi a pleasant 10 min walk into the town along a safe pavement with a lovely view. It was very hot 34/38 degrees when we were staying so we would walk into the town in the morning then relax by the lovely pool in the afternoon. The food was excellent and good value for money,particularly at dinner. The breakfast was also good. The staff were all lovely and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were on the small side but had everything in them that you could want and the patio was also very nice. The walls were a little thin and you could at times hear conversations from the next room. The hotel kindly arranged an excellent taxi for us from the airport and the driver was superb and the cost a lot cheaper than booking on line. Thank you so much we had a lovely time and hope to come back.

All the staff are extremely nice; great service; restaurant has great food; and the views are extraordinary. We ended up stranded there and wish we could have stayed more and done more.

This is our second vacation here at La Terazza in Assisi. This time, our visit coincided with World Youth Day. There was singing and dancing within the walls of Assisi. It was wonderful. Then, we could come back to LaTerrazza for a wonderful swim with fantastic views and peace. The Hotel is very new and a perfect mix of old stone and crisp clean white walls and newly remodeled room. Will stay here again!
