"The room was great and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very polite both at the check in and the check out process. Check in time is at 4pm. If staying at the Anchor Inn you must check in and out the Marina Bay front desk. The plus is that you can use the amenities at the Marina Bay hotel, and the Marina Bay also has a restaurant, bar, pool, and breakfast in the morning."

"We only had one night at the end, and we are already planning our next trip back. Our room was right, comfortable, and spacious. We sat out on the dock in the Adirondack chairs, watched boats pass by, a beautiful sunset, and used our binoculars to watch the birds in the sanctuary across the Inlet. Highly recommend!"

"What a wonderful place! Everything was clean and neat. The location is the best you can get on Chincoteague, right across from the lighthouse. LOVE that the house provides 2 kayaks, as well as beach chairs and boogie boards for the family to use. I have 2 minor complaints. ONE: It was frustrating at how SO LITTLE was provided re: basic necessities. There were NO paper towels, NO hand soap in any bathroom. One small roll of TP in each bathroom. The listing mentions that they "get us started" with these supplies....but BARELY. I am not sure I have ever been in a rental like that that did not supply hand soap in the bathrooms and at least a roll of paper towels. TWO: With the amount of money we pay for this place, one would think they could make the beds and provide decent towels. After a long trip, it was not fun to have to make the beds. I was alerted to the poor bath towels from another person posting, so I was prepared with my own. But it would be nice if the owners would consider upgrading their bath towels, have the beds made, and providing hand soap in the bathrooms and paper towels.That said....IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I have been on Chincoteague. The furniture on the decks were perfect for our family and having a dock to sit on and launch a kayak from was wonderful. We were greeted with all sorts of birds including a family of eagles, many herons and of course the ponies. THANK YOU for a great visit!"

"This is a lovely townhouse on a quiet part of the island. Updated kitchen, two BR with ensuite bathrooms. Well stocked pantry and cooking items, terrific grill, a few other amenities. Views of the lighthouse, marsh and waterways were fantastic. Everything was lovely, Our only suggestion would be for the rental company to look for a linen service with nicer bath towels. They were very thin."

"We had a wonderful time in Chincoteague and the Eastern Shore. We were two couples. Master bedroom perfect. Other two bedrooms not as well appointed for another couple. The other bedroom with a full bathroom had too many beds and made moving around the room difficult. One side of double bed inaccessible. We loved the location & decks for viewing Assateague & the lighthouse. Very responsive rental agents for any of our needs. No access to live/local TV. Overall a very relaxing, comfortable stay in a beautiful setting. "
