"My wife, myself, our 4 grown up children and our dog stayed for my father’s 90th birthday party weekend nearby. I grew up in the area so know it well. The house was the perfect base for us and is a charming and comfortable place to stay. It has everything you could need and the instructions, welcome pack and facilities were first rate. "I stayed here with a group of friends for a couple of nights due our Dales Way long distance walk. This accommodation really does offer excellent value for money and is ideally located in the charming town of Sedbergh. Customer service is first rate and I would highly recommend Howgills as a base if you are looking to explore this beautiful part of the world."
