Cottage #6 - Cute and airy 2 bedroom cottage right on Chautauqua Lake!

  • Cottage #6 at the Stow Cottages at Chautauqua - This adorable cottage is settled directly on beautiful Chautauqua Lake! Part of the Stow Cottages at Chautauqua, our mini resort has a beautiful lakefront lawn, private boat docks, fire pits, picnic tables, and even a little beach where you can dip your toes into the water! The cottage features 2 bedrooms, each furnished with a full sized bed. In the living area, there is also a twin daybed, with a twin trundle underneath. There is a full kitchen with a dining table, as well as one full bathroom. Finally, there is a small private porch at the entryway. With lots of windows, every room feels light and airy after being recently modernized! We are located just steps from the historic Stow Ferry, which provides convenient (and quaint) access to Bemus Point for dining and shopping.

Brought my teenage daughter for the weekend and we had so much fun. Cottage was cute and clean! You can't beat the proximity to the Ferry. We had a wonderful stay!

Cute and cozy great location

We enjoyed our stay the proximity to Bemus is a great asset. The cottage was renovated and decorated nicely. Could use a second air conditioning unit for a 90° day.

Chautauqua NY Getaway

Our cabin was perfect for two, but would easily accommodate four adults/adults and children in two bedrooms. Daybed including trundle in living room was comfy for sitting, but did not pull it for sleeping. Location was convenient to Institution programs. Added bonus was proximity

Cozy cabin

The cabin was a little smaller than I expected, but still looks nice. The location by the lake is very nice! There was a little issue with the cleaning person not getting done in time, but the owner quickly remedied the situation. We only stayed in one cabin, but it looks like a nice spot for multiple families to stay for a group trip.

A visit

Overall we were pleased. There are a few things which need addressing. The front door is difficult to open , the platform and front stairs are too small for entry with a difficult door, the kitchen needs more lighting. No ice was available.
