Secluded Redwood Cabin. Built from a redwood tree that blew down in a cyclone

Secluded Redwood Cabin Retreat in the Bush
Tucked away in peaceful native bush, this unique cabin offers the perfect balance of privacy, character, and convenience. Built from a redwood tree that blew down in a cyclone, the cabin has its own story and soul — a truly special place to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Although secluded and surrounded by bush, the cabin is not far off the road, making it easy to access while still feeling a world away from everyday life. It’s an ideal retreat for couples, solo travellers, creatives, or anyone looking to unwind in a quiet, natural setting.
Inside, the cabin is warm, simple, and thoughtfully crafted, showcasing the beauty and character of redwood timber throughout. Large windows bring the bush indoors, with birdsong and filtered light setting the tone for a relaxed stay. Whether you’re enjoying a slow morning coffee, curling up with a book, or unwinding after a day exploring the area, this is a place to truly switch off.
Step outside and you’re surrounded by nature — mature trees, and the calm that only comes from being tucked away off the beaten path. Evenings are perfect for stargazing, listening to the sounds of the bush, or simply enjoying the stillness.

Lovely stay. Just as idyllic as it looks in the pictures, felt secluded and private even though it was just off the main road and easy to find.Cabin was warm and cosy, everything was very clean. We travelled with two young children and they lived exploring outside. Our generous hosts sorted a highchair and a basket of toys and books, made all the difference! Thanks for having us we would love to come again in the future.
