"Just coming back down from a wonderful and relaxing 4 day stay at the lovely cabin in Ashford. The proximity to Mt.Rainier is amazing and the cabin has been tastefully updated to ensure all modern creature comforts are available. Our teens enjoyed the hottub during a snowy evening while the adults cherished daily sauna trips. The super comfortable leather recliners were a welcome treat during game and movie nights as were the DVD player and large TV sets. The host is incredibly quick, kind and informative in her responses and we felt very well taken care of. The groceries situation in both Ashford and Elbe is bare minimum so we'd suggest bringing most of them with you as its slim pickings there. Can't recommend this place highly enough - we're already contemplating a return trip for next year"

"Stayed here for six nights in September 2025. The home is clean and comfortable. Three miles from Mt. Rainier National Park Entrance. Natural, beautiful setting. Saw deers and Elks on the property. Multiple trees of apple, pear, and cherries on property. The cabin is on the National Register of Historic Places, the homestead was established in 1884. Saw Milky Way at night from the property every night we were there. The property manager is very friendly and very helpful. He kept the hot tub ready to use. It was nice to get into the hot tub after long hikes in the National Park."
