Fabulous little farmhouse!

A magical place outside, but no so much inside.
The location is beautiful and serene, which is why I picked it...for quiet and safety, as I was traveling alone with my dog, and needed a few weeks to finish up a research project. I found the place unclean, and in addition was missing curtains and kitchen bowls! I requested these things from mngt but never received. Workmen showed up unexpectantly and knocked on my door, looking for the owner. Neighbors crossed through the property with their dog off leash. Without curtains, I felt so uncomfortable in the evenings that I went to bed early, locked the bedroom and bathroom door, then had a hard time sleeping. My feeling of unease maxed out when doing yoga on the front porch, I looked up to notice exterior cameras on the house, which were not listed in the houses description. The final straw: the Wifi was so bad I couldn't talk on the phone without dropped calls and computer ran infuriatingly slow. I'm sure the owners are nice, hardworking ranchers, just a bit neglectful. I felt my safety and time was of no importance to them.

Wonderful Stay
The house was wonderful and exactly as pictured. Beautiful location with a country feel but within 15-20 minutes of restaurants, groceries, etc. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch (our dog's favorite spot) reveling in the quietness watching the wildlife. The house is extremely well stocked with the essentials, most importantly coffee. Noelle with the management company was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for those wanting a peaceful stay with beautiful views.

Rural Retreat near Asheville
We were looking for a scenic getaway near Asheville where we could unwind and relax in our own space. This property and home were the perfect escape.
