Amazing long weekend getaway

We loved staying here! Between the animals, vast property, comfortable bedrooms and living space, and proximity to downtown Asheboro and the zoo, our family had a GREAT trip.

Great spot, close to the zoo!

We had a great time at this property. The house was clean and our stay was comfortable. It’s very child friendly, with toys for little ones and the animals close by to feed and visit with. Beautiful views from the windows. Thanks for hosting us!

We loved our stay here. We went to go to the zoo, but thoroughly enjoyed the house. The kids lived being able to feed the animals and it was a nice, quiet, cozy location. We will definitely rent again the next time we go to Asheboro.

Perfect weekend get away!

Our family absolutely loved staying here for Mother’s Day weekend! The house was beautiful & very quiet. Our boys loved feeding/seeing the animals in the pasture next to the property. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

Perfect spot for a weekend zoo trip

My husband, myself, our 2.5yr old son, and my mom stayed for a weekend at the zoo. He LOVED the animals, loved running around the property, and all the toys available inside the home. It was a perfect place.

Zoo trip

The stay was excellent and all the feels of home. My granddaughter enjoyed the toys that were available. Only downside we had was phone service (Verizon) didn't work well, but wifi was available. Owner was very friendly and lives on the property if needed. Will definitely stay again!

Spectacular Adventure

A true gem! We enjoyed a day at the zoo then an evening with the farm animals. Star gazing was splendid and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely would recommend to a friend and would absolutely reserve again!

A weekend on the farm

The farm guest house was a welcomed change of pace from our busy city lives. The house was nicely decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My daughter loved that you provided animal crackers to feed the goats! Perfect weekend zoo trip!

We enjoyed our short stay at the Cellar Creek guest house. This cute farm house was very homey and my family and I enjoyed getting to feed the animals. The owners were very kind and great with communication!

The best stay we’ve had!

We loved staying at Cellar Creek! The little details made our stay memorable and an experience we’ll be talking about for years. We took a weekend trip to visit the zoo but mt daughter will not stop talking about the cows and piggies we saw on property. The cottage was super clean and had everything to accommodate us, even a sound machine for nap time! We can’t wait to come back!

Old McDonald's Farm

We loved the farm with the goats, chickens, rooster, cows and all the other critters. It was quiet and comfortable. My son plans on going back for a weekend just because of the farm animals.

Wow! I can’t say enough about this wonderful property! Our family was in town for our uncle’s funeral, we wanted a place to gather and fellowship, Cellar Creek Farms was perfect! The hosts were responsive and kind, the animals were engaging and fun, and the property was beautiful and serene!

Wonderful Experience

A great little house, beautifully furnished and decorated. The Grandkids loved seeing and feeding the goats, mini Scottish Highlanders, ducks, chickens, and donkey.. It helped them burn off a little energy while their Grandparents relaxed. Great location, close to the NC Zoo. Thank you for letting us stay!

Cute, Quiet and Clean

This was the perfect little get-a-way house for our family. It was actually much larger than it appeared in the listing and we were very comfortable. As others have mentioned, it was very clean! We appreciated having the animal crackers to feed the animals that are right in front of the house. Cute as can be!! We also appreciated the suggestions in the information book for places to eat. The Table was great for breakfast. It is a VERY relaxing place! At night, it is so quiet and it gets so dark outside. We slept very well during our stay. We will definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area.

Beautiful house. Loved the kids toys, they were a great extra touch to help my kiddo feel at home. We had so much fun seeing and feeding the cows and goats. Perfect place to stay near the zoo.
