The owners are an exceptionally nice couple, the husband even tracked me down in the township to return my alarm clock I’d forgotten to pack. The room was lovely - included a spa bath and small kitchen with small fridge, toaster, kettle, and two cooking elements. The television had the basic Sky tv channels - one sports, one movie, and the other regular stations one normally gets with a base subscription. Only gripe is the Wifi there is extremely unreliable and refused to log on for me for most of the two days I was there. When it did log on, it would frequently cut out.

Lovely place to stay when going through Ashburton, We have stayed many times. Great Hosts. Just remember your earplugs if not used to road noise.

Stayed here overnight as a break from a longer journey. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, our room was upgraded so had a jacuzzi which was perfect.

Stayed one night on our trip down South. This was the best accommodation, the kind of place you can recommend to others. The staff and room were well above average. Ask about a downstairs room if you can't carry your bag upstairs.

Amazing accomodation. The hosts were very welcoming, beautiful lining, family friendly. Definitely would not hesitate in staying there again. My young children are already asking when we can go back.

Clean and convenient. Comfortable bed. Excellent service. I came in late and they’d made arrangements for me. I was leaving on New Year’s Day when most restaurants were closed and Sue whipped up some breakfast that was much appreciated. I would highly recommend The Suites.

Great size rooms, plenty of space for our family of 4. Lovely dark curtains in the kids room which helped them sleep in. Nice clean facilities, lovely staff. We were in the room next to the main road so there was a bit of road noise at night.

Nice modern studio unit. The shower drainage didn’t seem to run the water down quickly enough so the floor got really wet. We had to use bath towels to keep the floor dry. We stayed in the ground floor unit. And unfortunately someone upstairs decided to have a spa(?) bath at 12.30 in the middle of night and also a long shower afterwards. The motor noise and water running down the drain were loud enough to wake us up… & hence couldn’t get back to sleep. Other than that, the motel was good.

Thank you for your response. The unit you requested is designed for wheelchair clients and this affects the floor levels. Whilst it's not ideal we havn't been able to come up with a solution - it dosn't help that we have amazing water pressure. We usually guide our guests on the best way to enjoy the facility - ie don't turn it on to it's fullest extent, aim the nozzle downwards, etc. I'm sorry if you missed this briefing. In terms of the noise, we apologize for your disrupted sleep, but we take on board that you thought it was a good, modern studio unit.
