The comfortable App6 holiday apartment, furnished in an Alpine style, features a spacious, sunny terrace. It is located in the well-maintained Gschwendtnerhof holiday complex, which offers a total of 26 individually designed apartments. At an elevation of 840 m in the idyllic high valley of Hintergschwendt—between Aschau im Chiemgau and Bernau am Chiemsee—you can enjoy peace and quiet, nature, and a breathtaking mountain backdrop, surrounded by meadows and forests between the Kampenwand and Lake Chiemsee. The apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, and excursions throughout the region. You’ll find shops and restaurants of all kinds in the nearby towns. A shared garden with wooden lounge chairs, an outdoor seating area, a barbecue area, and an open fire pit invites you to relax and socialise. In the basement, our guests have access to a sauna, two pieces of fitness equipment (a treadmill and an exercise bike), and a coin-operated washing machine/dryer. In addition, there is a storage room, a drying room with ski storage, and a cosy lounge with a ping-pong table, foosball table, game corner, and seating. Wi-Fi and parking are available free of charge. Please understand that pets are not allowed in Apartment App6. We offer our guests a bread roll delivery service (limited during the winter months). You can easily place your order and pay yourself—for a delicious start to the day.
Our bright and comfortable non-smoking holiday apartment in Chiemgau is located on the ground floor and offers plenty of space—55 m²—for a relaxing holiday for 2 to 4 people. A private terrace with patio furniture and two cosy seating areas invites you to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the peaceful surroundings. The living and sleeping area, furnished in an Alpine style, creates a cosy atmosphere and features a comfortable dining nook in the bay window, as well as either a pull-out sofa bed or a fold-out wall bed (1.40 × 2 m), since, due to space constraints, only one of the two sleeping options can be used at a time. Flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and a telephone are also available. A separate bedroom with a double bed ensures restful nights. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need—including a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a 3-burner hob, a small separate oven, a microwave, a toaster, a drip coffee maker, and a kettle. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/tub, toilet, and hair dryer; there is also a separate toilet. Bed linens and towels are, of course, provided. The apartment features hardwood floors and a patio door with a screen. Pets are not allowed.
The nearby Lake Chiemsee—affectionately known as the “Bavarian Sea”—is only about a ten-minute drive away and offers a wide range of activities, such as steamboat cruises, such as a visit to Herrenchiemsee Palace and the idyllic Fraueninsel, as well as water sports and relaxing days at the beach. For those interested in culture, there is a wealth of destinations to explore: The cities of Salzburg, Munich, and Kufstein, as well as the picturesque Königssee, are all within a comfortable hour’s drive and invite you to enjoy varied day trips.
