"I searched for a room in Carlsbad and it offered La Quinta. There is a La Quinta in Carlsbad NM. With out realizing Expedia was not offering the Laquinta in Carlsbad, I booked it and realized it was In Artesia 50 minutes the opposite direction to The Carlsbad Cavern. I called Expedia with in 5 maybe 10 minutes. They said they could refund my money if the Hotel agreed. I called the Hotel and talked to the attendant and he was not frienldly at all. He refused and said it was company policy. I had Expedia call and they got the same result. It may not have such a problem if the Manager at the La Quinta in Artesia New Mexico was a little nicer an concilitory conciliatory about the matter. We travel alot and will not use the La Quinta Hotel anymore."
