10/10!! We loved our stay at The Residence Aiolou. Staff was beyond courteous and helpful throughout our stay, from check-in to check out. They took our bags to our room, arranged the spa for us, took our bags down and called us a cab at check-out. Very professional, exceptional service from start to finish.
The hotel is in a perfect area for walking around Athens with quick access to great restaurants, shops, the Acropolis, etc. Everything you could want for a short visit.
The room was outstanding, above and beyond my expectation. We had 3 balconies, a giant tub (I'm over 6' so this was a real treat for me), very comfortable king bed, good wifi, everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
Will definitely be back to this hotel next time we're in Athens.

"The rooftop pool and restaurant are a treat, though a bit busy. Great view of the Acropolis from there. Restaurant staff are helpful. Rooms are very nice. Medium length walk to historical sites though it is through some pretty run down neighbourhoods."
