"I have rented through VRBO 6 times but all in Europe. This is my first disaster. The house is not what is pictured. It is old,furniture is old, and the house is musty . The bathrooms are on different floors so if all bedrooms are full you have come downstairs for a shower. There is very little water pressure. It takes a half hour to wash your hair. The sink in one of the bathrooms is on the wall on a slant so you can’t even put a toothbrush on it. Shower curtain was dirty so had to buy a liner and bath mats. When we arrived there were hornets flying around the bedroom and the wires in the bedrooms were were connected to extension cords in such a way that you would trip over them if you had to get out of the bed. Also the main bedroom has very low slanted roofs so you invariably bang your head getting into bed. The only good part was that when we called about the hornets the night we arrived a lovely young man came by and put more tape on the windows and killed the bees as well as reoriented the wires in all the bedrooms. The next day we continued to see hornets and called again. Another young man came and really helped getting rid of them up on a ladder and finding the nest outside. He also called an exterminator to help. So, this is a house more for young people who like camping out . "

"The whole place was amazing. It was immaculately clean throughout. Top tier design and decor. They provided everything you could need during your stay. The hot tub was clean and amazing. "

"Perfect Hudson Valley Girls weekend! The house was gorgeous, so incredibly clean, comfortable beds, beautiful outdoor fire pit area with jacuzzi overlooking the river. All the little efforts were put into the property to make it feel like an intimate home, like providing plenty of additional towels for the jacuzzi, shampoo / conditioner in the showers and more. We were able to spend each day in Hudson downtown enjoying all the boutiques and restaurants because it was such an easy drive into town. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!Lastly, shoutout to our host who was on point with communication and even surprised us with a s’mores kit which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you again!"

"Huny House was the most artistically created space we stayed in on our entire trip! We were sooo impressed and appreciated the attention to detail!"

"The location of the house was very near for food and supplies,yet very private. The inside was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the quietness and surrounding grounds with views of local wild life. The things that we did not like was the musty - moldy smell when we first got there. Every time you used the water it smelled. Red light on fridge for changing filter. Bought spring water to use for drinking, coffee, and cooking. All reported to host upon departure."
