We were traveling from North America and the expectation that we would bring our own sheets and towels is incredible. I hired this cottage because it was a vacation rental by owner but that also was not true. Instead I had to deal with Novasol, which clearly was not the owner but a commercial agency, which didn't provide live help but instead sent automatic responses to my queries. Finally, you should be aware that the downstairs shower did not work because it was virtually impossible to adjust the temperature. Also, the toilets both had rust rings that we tried to clean with cleansers. "

The castle is generally a little rundown (but nothing that ruins the grandeur of this once stately home) Both our rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean! Based on reviews, we had decided not to have dinner at the castle, but there are some cute options near. We did have breakfast and it was excellent, with everything you may need to start the day with a full stomach - we took her out to sit in the gardens.
