I was in the privilege section and our butler barely responded to us while we were there. We had a balcony which we couldn’t fully enjoy because they had a huge pile of sargassum outside of it. Ordering food for room service almost always had missing items. When they cleaned (once during our week stay) our room they didn’t change the sheets so it had sand in it. When we tried to get an uber to the airport the taxi drivers that are with the company the hotel uses started threatening and intimidating our driver until he left. We had to walk quite a ways down the street before trying to find other arrangements.

We absolutely love RIU Playacar! ❤️ We are definitely RIU fans, and once again, RIU did not disappoint! Every stay reminds us why we keep coming back. The atmosphere is amazing, the entertainment is fantastic, and there is always something to enjoy. One of our favourite highlights is always the famous RIU White Party! Such a fun atmosphere, great music, amazing energy, and unforgettable memories. It’s something we always look forward to and never want to miss! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always greeting you with a smile and making you feel right at home. You can really feel the positive energy throughout the resort. We had such a wonderful time and are already looking forward to our next RIU vacation! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. Keep up the amazing work! 🌴☀️❤️
