A beautifully decorated cottage with authentic period pieces. Extensive back garden for al fresco dining under a lush grapevine. Covered patio with access to the house from the kitchen. Renovated cellar with dartboard. High speed WiFi.
Enjoy the beauty and serenity of the village at the foot of the Carpathian mountains. Perfectly situated for mountain biking or trekking. Or simply stroll through the village and see the cows coming back from the pastures in the evening. Only 46 Km from gorgeous medieval city Sibiu (Hermannstadt). Sibiu has an international airport with direct flights from London, Munich, Vienna and other European cities. Good base for excursions to medieval cities: Sibiu (46 km), Sighisoara (75 km), Brasov (99 km), Bran Castle (90 km) and Saxon villages such as Carta , Cincsor, Cincu, Viscri, Prejmar. Close to horse riding and famous stables at Sambata de Jos. Orthodox monastery Sambata de Sus. Only 4 km away from well-known local trout farm Albota. Lots of forest hikes only 2 mins away from the house, the village is crossed by two streams.
