"Great location beside the lake and five minutes to the station. Great views of the town and lake. Relatively expensive, but what do you expect, this is St Moritz. Excellent breakfast. Room was fine. Lighting in the room could be improved. Subdued lighting is Ok for a romantic restaurant but not when you’re packing your bag and you need to find a missing pair of socks. Staff on Reception were helpful. The guy on the bar with the fancy moustache was hopeless, far too slow. He was more interested in chatting to a couple of women at the bar from the US. Perhaps it was the prospect of a tip? Anyway, no coffee for us which was unfortunate."

"The receptionist was amazing! She was super kind to my child, warm and friendly. Her English was impeccable which made everything seamless. The room was beautifully presented and the views from this corner room were fabulous. There was a free bus pass with the hotel, a bus stop literally outside with frequent timings and took ten minutes into town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff are courteous and professional and the hotel is clean and light with spacious rooms. "

"I couldn't fault my stay at hotel Franziskaner. My room was very comfortable. I upgraded my room to have my own shower, a bit more expensive but it was worth it. I had breakfast every morning which was plentiful and as much coffee as i wanted. It was a 15 minute walk to the bus/train station which was very pleasant. Staff were very friendly. "

"Great looking refurbished lobby- warm/cozy and welcoming. Home feel. Our room was refurbished and furnishings are practical with lots of storage space. One of the hotel restaurants- Made in Asia serves fantastic Thai cuisine - a very pleasant surprise. "

"This was a great place to stay. Spotless room, very helpful desk staff, and exceptional breakfast (included) in a lovely dining room. For those who have a car, parking is free. A small downside for those with arthritis in their hands: the soap is liquid in plastic bottles that are very difficult to squeeze. You might want to bring your own bar soap."

"I felt the hotel as a whole was absolutely fantastic. The welcoming and service by the staff was efficient and professional. Checking in online is the way to go! However, the rooms do require the window open as the rooms are soundproof. So if you have asthma bare that in mind. Overall, fanatic and would go there again. "
