We got the Junior Suite and it was perfect for our honeymoon and also wasn't exorbitantly priced. The breakfast buffet was quite good too! "Perla del Sole is a small, friendly B&B, though with a hotel-style reception, in the resort of Arenella, 8km from Syracuse. "There were things we've appreciated, such as friendly host, who tried his best to help us, cheerful dog and cheap price.
However the list of disappointing things is much longer. The biggest problem was dirty towels with black spots, which looked like it fell on the floor. Midsize towels were almost clean, but two big towels had a significant dirt.

"We chose this hotel as it was a bit outside of the main centers of Syracuse and Ortigia. However, we were disappointed that they did not allow us to check in early, even though it was only about an hour to check-in time. They held our luggage for us but then when we left to get lunch to pass time so we could come back and check in, they forgot they had our luggage and were trying to show us straight to our room.
