"la premiere chambre ( double standard ) que nous avons eu ne correspondait vraiment pas a notre demande, nous avions demande avec bacon et tv... la nouvelle etais mieux mais encore loin des standards francais ... aucune chaine FR 4 All 2 Ital.... piscine restaurant et lieux communs agreable repas bon mais un peu cher, on peut trouver mieux a l exterieur pour le meme prix ( par ex SEMA avec vue sur mosquée .. a conseiller ) etablissement ok en general, ils sont aux petits soins faut le dire......

"This Hotel is a little hidden gem, we loved everything about it . all staff were absolutely wonderful ,we recommend eating in their restaurant as the food is delicious, however there’s also is lots of sea front restaurants within 5 minute walk of the hotel , Pool area is lovely and they also have a private beach across the road . Rooms don’t have coffee & tea making facilities , however when I mentioned this to the owner she said ,we do provide kettles at reception ,so that isn’t a problem if you like to make a coffee in your room in the mornings.Breakfast is continental style with a very good selection of cereals meats & cheeses including lovely soft fried eggs ,freshly baked bread & homemade butter on offer ,and lots of yummy cakes & pastries all homemade . Our room was very clean & big , however try to book a room with a balcony over looking the pool , they looked very nice sadly all booked out on our stay . We would like to say a big thank you ! to everyone at the hotel for making our stay perfect for the 4 of us ."

"Sol Tropikal was a nice spacious hotel to stay at. The bathroom was very nice, extra large bed and a massive balcony. The room came with a large sofa as well. The cleaners are very good and mopped the floors everyday. Generally very nice staff and atmosphere. I would say a good family friendly hotel. Easy short walk/access to pool and beach. Adult and child pool very good water level. Very enjoyable for all age. Clean beach and everything well maintained, would 100% recommend. Breakfast was very basic we only had it 2 days out of the 6 day stay as it wasn't something we would want to eat, wish they had more authentic items like borek or different. Just a small variety of basic stuff so not interesting for adults or kids. Therefore didn't eat at the hotel at any time. Outside there is local shops and restaurant (halal) but we chose to travel around Durres for restaurants. There is no porters at this hotel therefore expect to deal with your own luggage, they did help us as we had two young children in prams which was nice of them. No iron in the room but we asked house keeping and they gave us one which was very good. Reception is in a different building to the actual room we stayed at. It is located around 5 mins away with no staff in the building, so each time you need to go to reception you have to travel to another building. Generally very good."

"We had a pleasant stay overall. The accommodation was clean and the host was responsive whenever we needed to get in touch. There were a couple of minor things that could have been improved, such as the check-in process and the bathroom setup, as the shower is quite close to the toilet and the floor can get quite wet afterwards. Location is very good and practical as it close to small shops and bakeries and next to the beach and strip with restaurants. Overall, it was a good stay and suited us well for our trip."

We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, so impressed and we will definitely be coming back. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, we loved it, it was heaven"
