The Portpatrick Hotel by Compass Hospitality
The room was dated although relatively clean. The staff during day were good but night service very poor. Locked out, guest let us in at 11pm. no resident service after 11pm, night staff could not access fridge. Akin to faulty towers. Price cheap but reflective in service

The Waterfront Hotel & Bistro
Although the "king size double" was in fact "bijou", the room was fresh and adequately appointed. AND was warm when we arrived A big PLUS!
